Trucking data seems to indicate that US exports to Canada via the use of over the road trucks (OTR) for full truckload shipments to Canada has increased by almost 2% between July of 2012 and July of 2013. At the same time the use of intermodal rail for full truckloads shipments between the US and Canada has decreased by more than 4%.
